[DML] High Speed blower fan cut-out - Update

You may remember my question about my A/C-Heater fan cutting out when
put on the "4"/high speed position. The fan would run consistently on
all other positions (1-2-3) but on high speed would run for about 5
minutes, cut off for 3-4 minutes, come back on and run for another 5 or
so minutes, cycling on and off like that. Obviously, there was a
circuit breaker that was heating up enough to blow, cool and reset as
the fan was used in the high position.
Replies suggested that corrosion on the connections might be the
culprit, causing increased resistance in the system, heating up the C.B.
Since all relays, Fan motor and speed control resistor pack had all
been changed for new, I wondered how that could be the case. What I
hadn't considered was the old female connectors on the ends of the
wires that hooked up to those new parts.
I pulled each connection off and sprayed contact cleaner down into the
plastic connector, bathing the copper reeds in cleaner, then plugged
them back in. I did this at the fan, relays and the circuit breaker.
Testing shows that the fan will run continuously on High setting now,
without any cut-off at all.
Many thanks to those who replied and to the list administrator for this
great forum to share experiences and tech tips.
