I won't take the time to go back and count posts but I think in my seven
years on this list I could count the number of people with a suddenly broken bar
on one hand. It would be interesting to know how many of them were due to
unsafe adjustments. There are only two posts I can solidly remember reading
about which dealt with a sudden bar failure. In one case, a guy just closed
his door and put his car in gear the thing cracked right above his head. He
was uninjured and it caused minor damage to the T-panel and spider cage.
More people need left front fenders than they do torsion bars.
