Are driver's side torsion bars really that unavailable?? I always thought you could get one from DMCH - for a price, to be sure, but you can get one nonetheless. Can't you? If this part is flat out unavailable and won't be remanufactured, that's a scary proposition for those of us who like to drive our cars. I may consider selling my car flat out now while it's still nice rather than face the day where it's useless and undriveable and worth a fraction of today's value because the torsion bar breaks and there's literally no place to buy one.
