Dave, No water in the fluid, handles heat better and I would assume that the customer has already replaced the old plastic line with the new SS line. I can also change the spring tension in the slave system which might help a some. I have lighter springs that don't push back as much. On some bottles of Silicone fluid I've seen words to the effect "Not for use use in clutch systems". Silicone fluid is more compressible than normal brake fluid. Not a big deal in a brake system but with the tiny volumes being moved in the clutch system it may put you right back where you were with the plastic clutch line, i.e. tearing up second and third gear. I don't see how different fluid is going to make the clutch action easier. That's not where the friction is, it's mechanical, either in the throwout bearing sliding on the tube or in the pressure plate assembly itself.
