[DML] Re: AC compressor rework



As usual I will refer you to the Workshop Manual. This way I don't
have to retype it and draw the pictures. Start at N:10:01. The gap is
VERY important. Chances are that your clutch is OK, you just have to
readjust the gap. Unless it is all bent up, the coil is burnt, or the
bearing is shot you should be able to get it going by setting the gap.
If the compressor has been dying and the clutch has been slipping for
a long time you *may* have to replace it along with the compressor.
