Hi Ron,
Marc or Rob Grady may chime in here but in a nutshell, the legend system was more than just a bolt-on kit. The entire engine was reworked. Surely the cost to modify an N/A engine would have been more than to just buy the entire long block. I am sure the Legend motor was blue-printed, had new cams, pistons, valves, etc.
There are some aftermarket 'bolt-on' kits though, such as the Island Twin Turbo and the BAE single turbo system.

Hello All,
I happened to come across an old Road and Track Article on Tamir's site
egarding Legend Industrie's development of a turbo version of the
elorean. In that article, the author mentioned he was able to test-
rive the prototype. I'm curious to know why there is no aftermarket
urbo version based on the successful work of Legend Industries. Any
deas?
Oh, and it's my first post, so please be gentle. ;)
Cheers,
Ron K.
