Actually that oil leak is fairly common. The seal is too exposed (my
opinion) and gets damaged from water, leaking antifreeze, etc. You
don't have to pull the motor but the muffler, etc. has to come off
plus the stiffener for the fascia. The seal has to be installed
properly and the crankshaft pulley sealing surface has to be in good
shape or the pulley replaced. PJ Grady sells a sleeve for the pulley
but I have never tried it. If you don't have the skill or tools it
should be a job for a DeLorean shop or someone who has the requisite
qualifications.
