I just wanted to let you guys know about what I saw at Sharper Image the other day. They had GPS radar detectors. At first I thought "Okay, what gimmick are they trying to push now?" but upon further inspection the idea sounds pretty cool. One of it's features is that it uses GPS to remember locations of false triggering. So, for example, if on your commute to work you pass by an area that normally false triggers your radar detector, a GPS radar detector can store that location in it's memory, and ignore it in the future. This technology makes sense, and it's something radar detectors have needed since day one.
