I would not recomend learning on your brakes. If you do not have any
experience working on cars the "best" thing you can do is take it to
someone who knows what they are doing and watch. It isn't complicated
but you can't make any mistakes. It probably will just come down to
taking it all apart, cleaning, lubricating, reassembly, and finally
adjustment. The E Brake is supposed to be when all else fails, so you
really have to know you can depend on it.
