James, Over the years, 3 of the Arizona DeLorean Club members have powdercoated their intakes, valve covers, and timing covers, among other miscellaneous parts. The powdercoat looks great and so far has held up on all three cars that I have seen. Based on that I would recommend powdercoating to you.
