I am getting the same  VIN results using 020001 along with the "D" code 
in the VIN. It is always possible that CarFax just does not have that 
info for the car - I have seen that on DeLoreans in the past when they 
either have not been registered in the recent past, or have been 
registered in areas that don't report (or don't accurately report).
