Solid advice! From someone who has chased electrical gremlins caused by this
pump shorting out (due to water build up-----due to small clogged drain
holes). You lose your dash lights, side running lights, and whatever else if on
that circut. Once problem was realized soution was simple, however if you
take the black windsheild washer pump assembly cover off it is not fun
re-alining the holes to start the screws. Takes a hand the size of a muchkin to reach
and start the top two screws. At the time, mine was a daily driver and just
had road gunk build up and clogged the drain holes.
