Hi Jeff, If your tailboard is an original you may expect this kind of problems. There are several options, depending on your skills. Usually bad contacts may cause lights to fail, intermittently fail, or not work at all. Dimmed lights may be caused by bad ground. Cleaning up is a way, but if you're a skilled user you may re-solder all connections to improve functionality. You also can replace the original boards with aftermarket boards available at your nearest De Lorean service station. Take them out, inspect them and decide what will be your best option. Your "ERM" question is not one I can answer, hopefully somebody else can. Regards, WelmoedJ Vita contin git. Vive com eo. Last night I found that the electrical connector clipped into the tail light board wasn't making clean contact. I cleaned off the board and the connector (which helped), but I'm wondering if anyone knows of a cleaner that I can use to dissolve any remaining grit/oxidation/etc. Also, I noticed that the tail lights seem a bit dim. Has anyone installed a replacement LED bulb that would brighten things up a bit? If so, can you tell me where you bought it, and its make/model number. Finally, while my lens was out, I noticed a small sticker labeled "ERM" affixed to the panel behind the tail light. Were any parts on the production cars made from ERM? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
