Nick and the group,
Posted this about regraining stainless on Nov 11, 2004. It may make
your brain hurt after reading all of it but hopefully it helps.
Search on the DML for message # 46668. Type the number into the
little white box next to the button that says, Go.
Mark R. Vanyo.
VIN 02261.

Hi,
I know this is something that has been discussed alot and i have
searched the internet and the archives but i cant find a step by
step guide for re graining which i am sure i have seen somewhere
before.
Can anyone give me a run down on the process and grades of sandpaper
etc. I have bought a blending pad from Huston some time ago, so i
already have one of them.
The grain is in OK condition at the moment but i would like to get
it back to new. I have the bumpers off so i presume that will make
it
alittle easier and i am aware of the 'X' problem with pressing the
bonnet....
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers, Nick
