  Try a heat gun-  GENTLY-  & smooth out the wrinkles.   I had mine 
recovered at a trim shop & they did a wonderful job.       Drive Stainless

In recovering are there any steps to make the top smooth again, it resembles 
a wave, with numberous cracks.  I don't want it to look the same just with 
new leather onit in time?
