Aaron, The Nology ignition package is basically a capacitive discharge system as it states in the literature. They make up there wires and use the same sources for wire as I do and the same end connectors as I do. We both buy from the same supplier. They use the same Bosch cap and rotor as I do and the only difference is the price. Your paying for the name. The 8mm silicone Taylor wire I use has a life warranty and is rated 500 ohms / foot for suppression. If they were to break down or you choose the MSD 8.5 mm wires at 50 ohms / ft I will replace it. Will the other people do it???. I doubt it. I very seldom hear any car people using Nology. I think 1,000's of Race performance people speak for the set I make up. You will hear stories about every brand of spark plug on earth, but Bosch as I see it in our cars works just fine. I can't see Bosch spending Millions of dollars in advertising the Plat + 4 only to build a defective plug as some have stated since I have been on the internet. Plat + 4 is my #1 seller with not one comeback. The cap and rotor works with the voltage and very little current. The plug wires either 8mm or 8.5 work fine. They are made for the 45,000 volt if you can generate it. The Platinum +4 are one of the best. And the best thing is it's 1/2 the price. You don't have several mark up's in it for a Name. I am in the middle of doing some tune up work to my car and I'm not sure what spark plugs to use. I will be putting in a MSD 45000 volt blaster ignition coil along with some 8mm silicone wires. Now, my plans were to use the Bosch Platinum +4 plugs, however, I keep hearing mixed results about using these plugs with the PRV motor. I've talked to a few owners and they say to stay away from them; owners posted on a DMChelp.com had said they recommended using the +4's. I am currently using the +4's in a few of my non-DMC cars and I haven't had a single problem with them. I'm just wondering what anyone else thinks about them. (as of now, I am using just your basic Champion plugs, the ones that are about $1 a plug with stock wires and the car goes just fine. I just want to do something a bit different with my car) Aaron P.
