Hiya
Well it sounds like a fairly sstraitforward 3 litre odd-fire (and yes
you have to do something with the conrods and/or guidgeon pins as
they're different odd-to-even). Including Nitrous, yes, you could
feasibly get 210 at the wheels - but IMO that's cheating :-) I assume
it's running stock heads? This misses an opportunity because the valves
are considerably larger on the 3 litre engines although you have to play
with the inlet ports or modify the original heads for the bigger valves
(they will fit). The Eagle had a static CR of 9.2:1 I believe. The
european Z7X engines are 9.6:1. I'd be worried about lightening up the
flywheel as I've seen standard GTA flywheels full of cracks. Centreforce
clutches are just re-branded Valeo ones and are cheaper from Renault.
Just as a comparison, someone posted this little vid on the Alpine forum
today

This is a 3 litre 24v PRV with triple webers and mapped ignition. 240hp
at the flywheel, just shy of 200 at the wheels.
