Mine just broke and acts the same.   Its a minor inconvenience since I never
use that mode anyway.

Hello everyone,

I just recently got my Delorean picked up having been shipped from NJ 
and am in the process of preparing the car for M.O.T. [the equivelant 
of state inspection I suppose]. The problem I have is the push-button 
headlamp switch. On the first position where it should turn on dash 
lights, marker lamps etc. it does nothing, not even light up. On the 
second position, it preforms as normal, ie; it lights up with the blue 
full-beam logo and illuminates headlamps. All fuses are fine, so is 
it most likely the switch itself or is it possibly a relay?
Also, the hazard light switch works fine but does not light up, though 
I am presuming this is just a small illumination bulb inside which can 
be replaced??
