John, My first impression it sounds like the pulse coil in the ignition
distributor. You could look for any wire that would heat up and when it
cools down would shrink and loosen. The connection at the bottom of the
inertia switch, RPM relay, or any wire around the coil or ballast resistor.

I have not driven my car for several months, however, When I start the 
car in my garage and let it warm up for 10 or 15 minutes, it cuts off 
and will not restart.

It has happened to me before when I drove the car and I had it towed 
home.  This happened two times.  When I got home and off the tow truck 
it would start and I would drive it into the garage, both times.
