[DML] Re: Heading into the valley of death

One of the things that makes this job so bad is the high probablity of
breaking some of the bolts. Either one of the bolts holding the water
pump or the distribution pipe underneath. Be very careful and aware of
any bolts that are stuck. All of a sudden they may break. One "trick"
is to try to slightly tighten before trying to loosen. Another is to
use heat. In any case you must be prepared to deal with the removal of
the broken pieces. If you order what the vendors call a Master Water
Pump Kit you will have what you will need. It is highly recomended
that you also do a tune-up at the same time. Carefully disassemble and
take a lot of notes and pictures. The big deal in reassembly is to
make sure you have NO vacuum leaks.
