Another possible problem could be water around the spark plugs. Usually just one or two. Dry them and make sure the boots are seating well.

My '82 has a couple of engine problems which might all spring from a
vacuum leak. I've tried finding this problem before by spraying
starter fluid on my engine and using a smoke machine to look for leaks.
