[DML] Re: Lowering the front end / New springs

If you look under the front of the car with the stock suspension
you'll notice that the tie rods angle down slightly. When you install
the lower springs obviously the car sits lower and the tie rods will
be close to horizontal. This means the distance from the steering rack
to the spindle has become a bit longer resulting in a toe out
condition. That's why you need a wheel alignment after the spring
swap. Lowering the rear of the car causes a change in alignment as
well because of the change in the distance from the trailing arm bolt
to the rear carrier.
