I believe the only DeLorean to literally have "DSV" placed on the
front grille was the original styling mockup from Ital Design Studios,
so of course, considering it was simply a mockup, it had no air bags
installed.

Are you referring to Proto One, the car Tony Ierardi now owns? If so,
the prototype interior is designed with places to accommodate air bags
in the steering wheel and passenger side dash, but there was never an
active SRS system installed in that car. The spaces to house it have
always been empty. I assume the same went for the prototypes that
followed it as well. By the way, Proto One reads "DMC" on the front
fascia, not "DSV".
