We have a group member here in the PNDC who was on the other end of a T-Bone accident.  55 MPH and a pickup truck pulled across a controlled intersection in front of him.  He barely had time to hit the brakes less than a second before the collision.  The reason I mention it is this:  the Delorean occupant walked away, unscathed!  To top it off, the insurance company totalled the D, he bought another with (some of) the insurance $$, bought back his for a song, parted his out and made even more cash from that.  Finally, somebody came out well against an insurance company!

Nice story but the best part is that a front-end 55 mph t-boning and he walked away with little more than a stiff neck.  Says something about the integrity of this X-channel construction frame.
