[DML] Re: DML makeover?

Firstly i need to mention that i helped to move the DOC UK forum
over from Yahoo to our PHP based forum and since that time EVERYBODY
is in agreement that this was the right thing to do.

However in all the time i have been reading this list, i dont recall
the 'consensus' voting on any proposal whatsoever to move the list
onto another format. Honestly, it only takes a little time and
effort from those at the 'top' to do so.

I enjoy reading all of the Delorean related 'newsgroups' and as you
appreciate we now have a very good choice, but i am sorry to say
this but the DML has become VERY outdated, what with many other
forums now thriving, unless the people that look after this
newsgroup change with the times, this site will become as redundant
as DMC factory workers became 25 years ago :(.

There are many forum programmes that can send individual emails to
those who wish to recieve them, so sorry i dont see that as an
argument.

So why not put this to the newsgroup members as a poll or a ballot
or something else and prove me wrong?.... That way its the members
that decide.

Take a look at the actual 'posts' profile, at the bottom of this
page, unless people dont need help anymore, i would say they are
already going elsewhere for it.
