Does anyone know more about the calibration of our speedometer... I was under the impression that there was no adjustment Screw, but rather it required a machine to change the strength of the magnet inside?? BTW I plan on installing a Mach meter in my car,.... Just kidding... Dave Delman D² & 6530 5a. Re: Glow Dials from Speedhut Posted by: "Shannon Yocom" ssdelorean@xxxxxxxxx ssdelorean Date: Fri Sep 8, 2006 11:05 am (PDT) Yes I'm sure the word "DeLorean" startled the folks at Bobsspeedometer.com. Back in Dec. of 2003 they charged me $65 and it took about 5-7 minutes for the tech to recalibrate my "DeLorean" gauge. It's magnet driven (no gears to change) so all they do is spin it up to speed and turn an adjustment screw. Tell them the speedo is a "GM" supplied, "AC Sparkplug Division" speedometer. Also remind them they did mine with no worries.
