[DML] Starting Problem

My car has been starting & running fine for a while now.  Today is the 
first day of my vacation and of course I go to start it 
and...nothing.  No dash lights come on when I turn the key & the 
starter doesn't turn (like in the case when a battery is totally 
dead).  Battery is reading 12.65.  According to the books, the voltage 
has to be greater than 11 to start, so I think I'm OK battery-wise.  I 
tried jumping it for kicks but no luck.  Any ideas...where should I 
start?  I love this car...*looks out at driveway and scowls*
