The mirrors function like the window motors, reverse + and - to get
direction. The mirror up/down wire common to both mirrors is the WP
or white/purple. I would guess there is a short to ground in that
wire somewhere. i.e. it works ok when the WP is a ground but blows
the fuse when it has to handle +.
