Bill, I don't know what happened to the instructions, but the battery at
12.4 volts is at about 60% capacity new or not. The brown / yellow wire only
is the light wire and is supposed to be hooked up to the alternator, not the
solid brown. Cut is off. The alternator may burn up if the battery isn't
slow charged over night and it hold's 12.66 volts or better.
Call me if there is anything else.
Toll free 1-888-278-1629.

John,
What instructions are you referring to? There were none with the
alternator you sent me. I had an ASE certified mechanic install the
alternator. He went by the Delorean Tech manual for the Motorola
alternator. There is the positive and brown to brown/yellow. The
battery was new and charged when installed.
Any help would be appreciated.
Bill
