The problem is that you would have to do this on a State-by-State
basis and it will get very complicated and expensive. For instance,
here in New Jersey any organization that can get 500 to apply can get
a specialized plate like a school, college, or business. A simpler way
to go may be to just make a customized license plate frame. In some
States that do not require a front plate you can put whatever you want
in front. I went with QQ plates which in New Jersey are Historic.
Saves on registration and inspection. For extra money you can get
personalized Historic plates. I can't see spending a penny more on
plates then I have to. Bad enough I have to spend anything.
