Re: [DML] Dead fuel pump?

Before you condemn the pump, check the inertia switch down by the
service interval counter. If it is not tripped, find the RPM relay in
the relay compartment. It is a black Bosch piece that this about 2 1/2"
long plugged into a six-position recepticle. Make a jumper from four
inches of #12 or 14 wire with two crimp-on 1/4" blade connectors.
Remove the RPM relay from the recepticle and jumper from the corner
where the brown wires come in, across to the corner where the
white/purple wires go out. The pump should run. If it does not, leave
the jumper in and find out why.
