No not really. Most modern ECUs actually switch off the injectors on overrun. When they fire back up again, the ecu will have a setting for enrichment for a fraction of a second - this function is to wet the walls of the inlet tract that would have dried out in overrun. The inlet tract is expected to have fuel wetting it.
