as far as i own the car it rev up to 3000rpm when starting
it....really anoyying thing but i heard that it was pretty normal to
rev a little higher than normal when starting..so i lived with
it...i just finished my custom headers ans free flow muffler
system....so now its really more than annoying this is really
somthing i want to remove on the car (the high idle when starting)
so i call all vmfers to help me with that....by luck i discovered
something interesting last summer : if by example you are at a red
light and enters the 5th gear instead of the 1st(hehhe not many
chances) and the car dies when you hit the key to restart it WOW the
engine doesnt rev up and start at a steady 800rpm just perfect !!!!
so my conclusion is than somehow the computer knows that its not
the "first start up" and dosent make the engine rev high ? maybe its
something like since the key was to the on position and wasnt move
to the off position the rpm relay or any other goodies had power so
didnt notice it was restarted or something like that....
i checked the lambda and idle systems but did not seems to affect
the high idle when startind...
pretty sure its more complicated than that but ist for sure
something that can be fixed...even if i must shut down the car with
a other switch plugged on the car hehhehe
thanks to all if ou have any inputs please let me know !
