[DML] Anyone got experience of fitting DMCH's arm rest caps?

Hi all!

I ordered the narrow and wide arm rest caps from DMCH as i could not 
work out which one was right for my car!

I discovered that the wide ones were the closest fit but when i 
attempted to fit them, i had trouble getting a satisfactory fit.  
There is a lip and it prefents the cap from sitting totally flush.  
Is it meant to be like this?  I could trim the edge off and that 
should sort it out, just wondering if you guys have any experience 
of the items!
