I find this pretty mysterious. The show has been scheduled for almost
two years now. It's been known for over a year that the BG Corvette
show would be at the same time and would contend for rooms. You can
always reserve a hotel room at NO CHARGE and it's cancellable until the
day that you are supposed to get there. Why are people waiting until
NOW to reserve a room?
And with all the complaining about the PR hotel being full, why aren't
more people signed up at the Hampton? Yes - there are other hotels in
the area, but they are also rapidly filling up, and you won't find
anything any cheaper, at least not something you'd want to park a
DeLorean in front of, or sleep in for that matter.
I've had a reservation since last June.
