[DML] Towing a DMC

I want to tow my DMC behind my motorhome, travelling to Chicago.  A vehicle
tow trailer (with the car) is too heavy to hook up to the coach so I'm
wondering if it's sensible and safe to tow the (manual transmission) D
behind the coach.  Are there specific things I could do or should do to make
it O.K.?

Any suggestions or experience would be greatly appreciated.
