>From what I understand, no one really uses the old 2-shaft (or "dual-shaft") style anymore. Crutchfield *might* have a model or two, but they're guaranteed to be tape-only (the 5" CD would be larger than the primary opening in the dash!). When I bought my car, it didn't have the original Craig radio, but some Blaupunkt one. Came off... *thinks* ...an '83 Saab? At least, that's what the sticker on the radio chassis claimed. They also had to rig it up a bit to get it to fit. Your best bet would be to either cut the original mounting bracket to accept a DIN radio, or get the DMCH mounting bracket and save your original bracket. That's pretty much what I went ahead and did. From what I understand, DMCH's back-stock of the original mounting brackets are running a little low, so I thought it best to chuck mine up in the closet. Just my two cents.
