If you are involved in an accident, the car is stolen, or you have to file any sort of claim on the car, the insurance company is going to check the milage. And if you've exceeded it, then they don't have to pay on the claim. And in some states, the limit for said vehicles (like Nevada) is only 2,500 miles a year. Collector/limited use insurance also has other limitations too. According to Hagarty, the vehicle must be stored in a locked garage, you cannot use the vehicle to commute it, the vechicle cannot be parked out in the open, and no one under 25 may have access to the car. So be aware that while collector car insurance may certainly fit your budget, there are other aspects of it that may clash with your driving routines. -Robert vin 6585 "X" To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
