Matt - I know you love your car. I don't mean it any disrespect. I'm
not saying there is anything wrong with the turbo kits or stage II
engines other than what you get for the cost. You know my last car was
a Vette, and coming from that background, you can get a lot more out
of a small block Chevy for $5-$8K+ than a mere 60 to 80 hp gain. I've
heard a DeLorean with a Stage II engine runs in the mid 15s in the 1/4
mile. That's not very fast for dropping $5K. An improvement over
stock? Yes, absolutely! But worth $5K? To some, yes I guess, but to
me, probably not.
