Bernie, This same issue that was posted last week by some one else. Check the replies to his postings you may find the answer. I assume you have checked the micro switch correct! There is one other thing that can cause this, a stuck ISM, I had a personal experience with that. It was on another guys car also. How I diagnosed it was to swap my known good ISM with his unit. The car idled perfectly, later it was determined that his motor was stuck in one position because the upper bearing for the armiture had rusted solid prevening movement. although this is more likey to happen on a car that sits for years out in the elelments.
