You have enough chances of fire with some of the unmodded electrical systems as it is. I'm not going to comment about the actual effectiveness of the various r12 subs out because frankly, i've never actually used any of them myself, so i'm not just going to guess about something I have no experience with. The rest of what I said about me using real r12 in my D when I get that far was just a personal choice for me, since I have access to it, even if it is expensive.
