I've moved to higher ground, but the D couldn't make the trip. I left
yesterday afternoon, and I am so glad. A four hour trip was eleven hours and
my left leg would be bigger than Paul Bunyan's if I had driven the D.
Here's hoping the garage door braces hold and the neighborhood drains do
their duty.
My home is about 30 miles north and a little east of Galveston. I'm not sure
what to expect, but I'm praying for the best.
