Terry,

Sounds like the fans are working right, are you having any over heating 
problem?  If you don't get cold air, find a shop that can service and 
and recharge R12 system.  If it's blowing cool air you just need a 
recharge.  If it's not blowing anything but ambient temp air, you need 
to find the leak an fix it.
