Rod bearings 'hammer', mine is definitly a valve knock. As far as #4 
valves, my findings are the #4 exhaust valve has clearance no matter 
what stoke it is as long as it's #1 TDC 0 deg. I think it may even 
have clearance on #6 TDC mark O deg. -----Dani B. #5003
