Please let this post through do to incorrect information given in the  
last post for the Delorean radar detector.

This was not true when i bought mine for the Delorean and it still is  
not true, you do not need to purchase anything extra to hard wire this  
into your Delorean.

The Valentine1 comes with 2 power sources. 1 plugs into your cigarette  
lighter and the other can be hard wired in your car. see here

When i start my car the radar detector turns on also.

There is no such thing as a remote console that valentine1 makes, they  
have a concealed display. See here

The concealed display is only needed if you do not want the radar  
detector to blink and flash so others behind you can see it.

I believe this is the best radar detector for my Delorean.
