I'll chime in and also say that the Previous Owner(s) on my car (#1366)  used 
full synthetic.  My uncle has been using full synth on his Honda  Accord, a 
'91 model, and she's a beauty (I think she has something like 300,000  miles, 
motor still going strong).  Seems to work great, so I follow this  tradition.  
If it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me.
