Your issue needs to be checked methodically. I am afraid the jumping
around will lead to guessing.
The hose disconnect you did should have created a vacuum leak in the
intake manifold idle motor plumbing. It sounds like the hole in the
bottom of the intake manifold feeding the idle motor may be stopped
up.
But - guessing along here, I would say your symptoms also describe a
problem in the fuel pressure regulator or the vacuum lines and
accessories attached there to.
