Good Lord, Dave, that story was simply awful! I can't imagine how the
owners felt. I find it a little strange that they left their keys in
it, though.
I did have a rope around the car. It was the kind that you find in
airports that retracts into the pylons and looks like a seatbelt.
It's the only time my DeLorean had that "museum" look to it.
It still didn't keep them out. Out of the hundreds of spectators that
were there, I had only three in the seat and one I had to shake my
finger at. Still, I should have had ZERO climbing in.
I have signs, but I don't like to use them as they can sometimes send
the wrong message. You know, "The owner must be a real snob",
message.
I guess I'm going to start being that way because the signs are going
with me next time. And the time after that.
Maybe a Carcoon... :)
