Hey Bernie,
Having just purchased my D the other day, I have not had the experience
of problems that are sure to come. However, I do recall reading on this
board and other places that the fuel sending unit was prone to failure
on the DeLorean. I would suggest if it continues to give false
readings, you may want to consider replacing it with a "TankZilla" unit
that I know PJ Grady carries. From the installation instructions, it
seems like a simple bolt off/bolt on replacement right under the spare
tire. Hope this helps.
