[DML] Re: Emission Testing

Emission testing is not required on pre-1995 automobiles in NC.  It
took me all of 3 minutes to get my D inspected in June (5 additional
minutes to register the car in the NC database, since (apparently) it
had never been inspected in Florida.)  All they did was check my
headlights, taillights, horn, turn signals, and odometer, and sent me
on my way.  $9.50

This may be different in major cities and highly populated areas though.
